Comments, mentions, and useful votes
Readers who are members can comment, pull a colleague in with an @, and mark an article useful. Only credentialed professionals can vote, which is what makes the count mean something.
Part of Publish Articles.
Comments
Signed-in members comment under an article. Type @ and a name to mention a colleague; they get a notification.
You can remove any comment on your own article. Staff can too.
Replies to your comment reach you under Mentions and replies in your notification settings.
Useful votes
A member with a current credential can mark an article useful once. The count shows on the article and ranks it in the catalog and the weekly newsletter. Votes earn the author community points.
Turn a conversation into a thread
On a popular article, press Discuss in the forum. A members-only thread opens that links back; comments stay on the article, and readers see "Members are discussing this."
Report a comment
Use the three-dot menu on a comment to report it. Staff review reports in a queue.
