Storage for message files
Files you send in messages count against your storage: 5 GB on Member, 25 GB on Plus. Settings shows what you use and what you could remove.

See your use
Go to Settings, then Storage. A bar shows how much of your space is used.
Suggestions
Never sent: files you uploaded but did not send.
Large: the biggest files.
Old: files in conversations that have gone quiet.
Archived: files in conversations you archived.
Tick what you want gone and press Remove. The file is deleted; the message stays and says "File removed". Nothing is ever deleted on its own.
What counts
Only files sent in messages. Article images, course video, and your profile photo do not count. Video in messages needs Plus.
